    We have an exciting new opportunity for a new Store Manager to join our fantastic team.     Duties and Responsibilities

    • Achieve financial objectives and KPIs by analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
    • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
    • Maintain outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards
    • Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales
    • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
    • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
    • Ensure high levels of customer’s satisfaction through excellent service
    • Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
    • Maintain store staffing levels by recruiting, selecting and training employee
    • Maintain staff performance through coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

    The successfully appointed Store Manager will have proven experience in a senior management role in a retail environment, preferably fashion, and be able to demonstrate a track record of exceeding sales targets.

    Location: Bedford

    Contract: Permanent Part time (20 hours per week flexi)

    Salary: £5.60 – £7.50 Per Hour

    KEY DUTIES:

    • Responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of management as and when required
    • Cashing up at the end of the day and ensuring correct procedures are followed as and when required
    • Providing back up support to the Store/Deputy Manager and reporting back to them on any issues
    • Optimise sales and individual customer purchases.
    • Engage the customer by delivering a first class customer service.
    • Operate till and handle financial transactions.
    • Replenish stock with our fantastic products and specialist brands.
    • Assist with deliveries and stock handling on a regular basis – we are busy!
    • Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties.
    • Ensure compliance with all company procedures.
    • Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement.
    • Responsible for Health and Safety.

    WHAT DO WE NEED FROM OUR EMPLOYEES?

    7. Knowledge and understanding of High Street fashion.

    This role is contracted to a minimum of 16 hours per week but there is an expectation to work more hours and flexibly during peak trading periods. Not all hours will be worked as a Key Holder.
